We both felt a strong desire to contribute to our community and when the church [Maria Regina] mentioned they were looking to restart the ministry we were drawn to the mission of making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Our Vincentian story is one of collaboration and shared values. In the busy world we live in, it gives us an opportunity to do something together for the good of others. Additionally, we have connected with wonderful people in our parish, giving a greater sense of community. For couples considering joining the ministry, it’s important to know that the experience is incredibly rewarding but requires commitment and a shared dedication to the cause. Being actively involved as a couple benefits not only the community but also strengthens the bond between partners. It’s a journey worth taking together.
