Hello, we are Raul and Consuelo of the Conference, Our Lady from Loretto of Hempstead. Thank you for the opportunity to share our Vincentian experience with you. It is a pleasure to be able to express a little of our experiences serving together.
In my case [Consuelo], I first joined the conference and then I brought my husband, but I had already learned from him to be generous with others. Although perhaps my husband is not such a visible member to others, but he is a very important support in this time of service as president. Thanks to his support I can dedicate almost 100% of my time to the conference.
The relationship as a couple is better than even mentioned…understanding, confidentiality, time together, friendship, spiritual growth. We always donate our time. In my wife’s case, I would say that she goes the extra mile because she has a special dedication to what she does and is always available when it comes to serve.
Support each other because it is easier to serve when both are involved in the Society, always encourage each other because sometimes you may be going through moments of discouragement, especially when things get difficult, but if you have a partner who supports you and comforts you, it’s harder for you to get discouraged.
Hola somos los esposos Raúl y Consuelo de la conferencia nuestra señora de Loretto de hempestead, gracias por la oportunidad de compartir nuestra experiencia Visentina con ustedes es un plaser poder expresar un poco de nuestra experiencias sirviendo juntos.
En mi caso yo consuelo me uní primero ala conferencia y después traje a mi Esposo pero ya avía aprendido de el a ser generosa con los demás, aunque talves mi Esposo no sea un miembro tan visible ante los demás pero es un apollo muy inpotante en este tiempo de servicio como presidenta. Gracias asu apollo yo puedo dedicar casi el 100% de mi tiempo a ala conferencia.
La relación como pareja es mejor a aún mentado la comprensión, confidencialidad, tiempo, juntos, amistad crecimiento Espiritual. Siempre donamos nuestro tiempo en el caso de mi esposa yo diría que ella ase la milla extra porque tiene una dedicación especial por lo que ase y siempre tiene la disponibilidad cuando se trata de servir.
Que se apollen mutuamente por qué es más fácil para servir cuando los dos estan inbulucrados en la sociedad siempre animarse el uno al otro porque aveses puedes estar pasando por momentos de desánimo mayor mente cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles pero si tienes una pareja que te apolle y te consuele es más difícil que te desanimes.
